| My mission trip to Africa was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I
will never forget or regret the things that I witnessed while I was in Africa. First of all I
want to thank my God and Savior for allowing me to go on this trip. I also want to thank Him
for the souls we saw saved while there. We did not keep count, but I |

know we saw many people turn their lives over to Christ. The most amazing part of this is
that many of them were Muslims. Wow! Isn't God good? Previously, I had never
wanted to come into contact with a Muslim. I have always been afraid of them because they
hate Christians so much; however, on this trip God allowed my eyes and heart to see that they are
so blinded by Satan and greatly confused.

One day we went to a hospital and Pastor Jackson (a former Muslim) began to witness to a Muslim.
I was not able to understand what they were saying, but afterwards Pastor Jackson told me,
"This lady was a Christian, but when she got married, her husband forced her to convert to
Islam." Praise the Lord, God

reopened her eyes and she rededicated her life to Jesus. Pastor Jackson also told me that
Muslim men are commissioned to go out and marry Christians and force them to convert to
Islam. Satan is really at work in Malawi, Africa.
After being there the first week, I noticed huge Mulsim mosques around the cities. I then
began looking for Christian churches but I found NONE! The churches that I did see were about
30 - 45 miles outside the cities, hidden in villages. Here in America we can find a church on
almost any street corner. I realized just how blessed we truly are as Americans.

Going to Africa has made me appreciate the way God has blessed me, and I am so proud to be an
American! I encourage anyone who feels God calling them to mission work to take a stand and
not back down from what God wants you to do. It will be something you will NEVER regret.
