Tabernacle Christian School began in 1972 under the leadership of Pastor Bobby L. Leonard and the members of Bible Baptist Tabernacle who saw the need for a Christian school to assist parents in the training and educating of their children in a godly environment.  

The school is designed to assist the Christian home in the responsibility of training the child in a Christ-centered philosophy of life. Tabernacle Christian School desires to graduate young men and women who are academically sound, patriotic, socially refined, and so Biblically knowledgeable that they will live their lives based on Biblical principles, and in doing so, discover and follow God's will for their lives. 

We realize that Tabernacle Christian School is not for everyone.  It is only for those who can meet the academic standards and abide by all of the requirements that are set forth by the school administration. Our rules are distinctively Biblical and historically sound. We have experienced that students from homes that hold the Bible as the paramount standard for practice have virtually no trouble abiding by the standards of Tabernacle Christian School. 

Family church attendance is a vital part of a child's education. Without faithful cooperation from the parent concerning this matter, a student will most likely encounter serious difficulty in the educational process of Tabernacle Christian School.
